What is a reputation icon? And why does one appear when I post? I don't see on others. And sometimes after I post in someones thread it seems like the thread goes dormant. And I don't know what 10 reputation points are? Maybe it's a good thing could be bad? If I have 10 points am I building a good reputation or a bad reputation. Either way how did I get the 10 points? Thanks for your help.

Regarding reputation points. Don't give them a thought, they come naturally, they are good things and if you should warrant being awarded some you will.. The reputation points are simply points awarded to posters by moderators for posting useful, intelligent and original posts. Theads going dormant are usally browser problems. You get 10 points simply for registering.
